Nepal 🇳🇵 NEA published

Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has developed a mobile application whereby any customer can read the electricity meter installed at their house and pay their bill online.This new initiative has been developed by the power utility due to the fear of the coronavirus infection spreading and nationwide lockdown as a result of which NEA meter readers have not been able to visit customers’ houses to do the needful.

Customers will soon be able to download the application through which they can read their meters and pay the bill online, informed Kul Man Ghising, managing director of NEA.

“All customers are requested to pay the tariff online by reading the meter themselves and get a discount on timely payment,” he said, adding, “Before reading the meter, the customer has to go through some technical processes on the app.”

At present, three types of meters are installed in customers’ houses. Ghising said that meter reading should be done based on that. “The payment process can be started by entering the first four digits of the meter on the application,” he added.

As per him, NEA is going to introduce the mobile application from Tuesday to make its service more convenient and effective. Ghising further claimed that after the online technology is introduced, it will be easier for customers to read the meters and make payments.

To use this app, customers need to first register their details. After that, customers can log in by entering their mobile number and password.

According to Ghising, customers need to enter their actual meter number in the online meter reading system. If there is any misuse in the current meter number, action will be taken as per the Distribution Regulations of NEA.

At present, NEA has about four million customers across the nation. Of these, 40 per cent are industrial and the rest are domestic and other customers. As the industrial estates are completely closed, the online meter reading system is likely to be used only for households or other groups.NEA is working to digitise all the activities connected with the customers. In the next phase, areas including power houses, substations and load centres will also be automated, said Ghising.

धेरै टिचर वाट ढाट खाने गर्थे। मेरो यस्तो दिन आईसकेको थियो कुनै बेला भनथियो घर वाट तिमी न आईजा घर तिम्रो लागि छैन घर, यस्ता मान्छेलाई म घर मा चाहिँदैन तिमी मेरो शनतान छैन यस्ता गाली खानथिए। यस्तो अवस्था हुँदा हुँदै एस.ऐल.सी(S.L.C) पनि फेल(fail) भए। अब त घर वाट यस्तो कुरा भन्यो तपाईंहरुलाई शुनदा खेरी अजिब लाग्ला यस्तो अनैढो कुरा कसैले भन्दैन कुनै गाजिेयन(parents) ले जुन यो कुरा हो कति मायाले भनियो "छोरा म तिमीलाई चिनदिन्ह को हो तिमी" I don't know who are you. यस्ता कुराहरु भने छन्।🗣️

जब म फेल भएका थिए १ महिना फेरि शुरुवाती गरे पढाईमा। त्यस पछि म परिक्षा दिए फेरि fail भए, त्यसपछि फेरि म १ साल loss भयो अब मलाई घर वाट खुब कुरा कानी भई रहेको थियो। मलाई समाजले पनि हेप्दै र रिस्तदारले पनि गलत भावना सुनाउदै मलाई दिक्क लाग्थे। त्येति बेला म के गरौं समझदारी केही थाहा थिएन। कुनै बेला यस्तो मन लाग्थियो सबैभन्दा राम्रो उपाय आत्महत्या गरीहाल्लु, societ हो यो राम्रो उपाय हो। किनभने म रहदैन न मेरो बारेमा एक-अर्कामा कुरा हुदैन। यसमा सबै जना खुशि हुन्छ म। अर्को दिन म आत्महत्या गर्न गए।😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

हो यस्तो अवस्था आईसकेको थियो मेरो जीवनमा in my life 💔 फेरि मलाई एकछिन याद आयो, होइन यो राम्रो कुरा हइन म सोच्न थाले यसैको लागि मेरो आमा बुवा मलाई जन्म दिएको छ। होइन मलाई तह राम्रो मान्छे बनु छ, किन म ठूलो मान्छे बन् सक्दैन होइन सक्छ(every person are success with him). संसारको सबै मान्छे ठूलो 💯% बनह सक्छ। अलि मेहनत गर्नु पर्छ तर बन्छ त्यस पछि म फेरि पढ्न सुरु गरे।

फेरि म सुरुवात गरे पढाईमा जुन बेला म सहरमा म rent मा बस्थिए। कसैबाट पैसा कर्जा लिएर पढ थिए मलाई उमिद थियो म पढ्न सक्छु। संसारमा यस्तो धेरै मानिसहरू होला त्यस कारण तह होइन नपढ्ने हो। म पढ्न सुरु गरे तर बढी पैसा हुन्थेन त्यो बेला म tuition पनि पढ थिएन। धेरै गम्भीर अवस्था थियो त्यस कारण म 🏠 घरमै बसी बसी पढ थिए। मलाई साथीहरुले एकदमै सहयोग गरे त्यो बाहेक केही उपाय थिएन। सहयोग गर्ने साथी कलाशमेट र गाउँको थियो।

साथीहरु संग उमिद पाए र म पढ्न थालें।
त्यस पछि परिक्षा आयो म परिक्षा दिए, मेरो ईकजाम पनि राम्रो गए। ३ महिना पछि परिक्षाको नतिजा प्रकाशित भयो त्यसमा म पास(pass) गरे। मलाई एकदमै खुशी लाग्यो घर मा गए आमा र बुवा भन्यो ठिक छ, अब अगाडि केगर्छै। म भने कुनै फिल्डमा गइहाल्छु बुवाले भने आरे नलाएक कुनमा जान्छ तलाईं के मा मन लाग्छ भन्। त्यस पछि म केम्पसमा लागे त्यसबाट पनि पास आउट भए। त्यस पछि काम र पढाई दुवै चल्ने गर्दछ, सहरमा आइहाल्ए र काम, पढाई गर्न थाले। केहि दिन पछि सरकारी कार्यालय बाट नोकरीको लागि आयो।🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃                                                            त्यसमा म एपलाई गर्दि सके र अब म तयारी गर्दै छु। यो पढाई मा खुब मन लाग्दछ किन भने एउटै थरिका किताब पढनु पर्छ, जुन चाहिँ school, campus हरुमा अनेकै किताब पढनु पर्छ। त्यसै कारण त्यो मा खुब ईन्टे्शट लाग्छ। हाम्रो जिवनमा यस्तो धेरै कस्टहरु आउँछ तर हामीहरुलाई आत्नु पर्दैन त्यसमा war गर्नु पर्छ र winner हुनुपर्यो। त्यसैले यो जिवनमा जसले परिचय गर्छ उसैले अनिवार्य रुपमा विजय प्राप्त गर्छ। र हामीलाई हार मान्नु पर्दैन र लक्ष्य प्राप्त हुनु पर्यो।

Today I am told now what is camera and types of camera.

1. DSLR Cameras:

DSLR camera is the short form of Digital Single Lens Reflex Camera. This is the most popular types of cameras in the market. All professional photographers will have one DSLR camera in their kit. It is actually a combination of a digital imaging sensor with a single lens reflex camera.

DSLR cameras come with a detachable lens. So, you can change the camera lens based on the type of photography. If you are doing landscape photography, you can mount a wide angle lens and for wildlife photography a telephoto lens.

In a DSLR camera, you can get a direct view of the scene through the camera’s optical viewfinder. Both full frame and half frame camera options are available in DSLR cameras.

Canon and Nikon are the two popular manufacturers of DSLR cameras. You can also get DSLR cameras from Fuji, Pentax, and Sigma also.

You can choose one which fits in your budget and the type of photography you are doing. The wide variety of lens options is one factor which makes DSLR cameras quite popular. All the current DSLR cameras are also capable of recording videos. Some can even record 4K videos.

DSLR gives you the ability to record images in RAW format. You can later post-process image in Photoshop or Lightroom

2. Mirrorless Cameras:

If you remove the optical viewfinder from a DLSR camera, then you get the mirrorless. So, the optical viewfinder would be missing from the mirrorless camera. This removes some amount of weight from the camera body.

Image falling on the camera sensor can be seen directly on the viewfinder. This makes mirrorless cameras lightweight and easy to handle.

You can get both Crop frame camera bodies as well as full frame camera bodies in mirrorless cameras. Sony A7RIII is the current best full-frame mirrorless camera body. Nikon and Sony also have their mirrorless camera bodies.

They also come with a detachable lens feature. The lens options are comparatively less since they are new to the market. Nikon and Canon have come with adapters, to mount the existing DSLR lenses on to the mirrorless cameras.

Like DSLR cameras, mirrorless also allows you to capture the image in RAW format.

3. Point and Shoot Cameras:

Point and Shoot cameras are compact cameras, useful for people who want to capture vacation pictures or family pictures. These are for people who are not interested in photography and just wanted to capture images.

They come with a fixed lens and variable focal length. You will not be able to get the telephoto reach in a point and shoot camera. Hence, it is the best camera for documentation purpose.

Here, the image would be recorded in JPEG format. Most of the Point and Shoot Cameras use AA batteries. Only a very few cameras come with custom batteries. Among the different types of cameras for photography, point and shoot cameras are lightweight and, you can easily carry it in your small bag.

4. Smartphone Cameras:

Nowadays, we are getting good cameras in Smartphones itself. Almost, all smartphones come with dual cameras, one in the front for selfies and one at the back.

Some smartphones even have dual cameras at the back, one for portrait shots and the other for regular shots. With the help of software, they can get DSLR like blur effects on the photos.

This feature makes smartphone cameras more attractive to people who are looking for the DSLR camera features in a compact size.

The rise of smartphones with good cameras resulted in the decline of point and shoot cameras. Some smartphone even allows you to capture the image in RAW format, which you can edit later.

But, don’t expect this RAW file to have the same amount of picture details like a DSLR or a mirrorless one. These types of cameras are mostly suited for people who always want to have some camera in their pocket or for those who don’t want to carry separate cameras.

Smartphones like iPhone from Apple, Redmi Note 5 pro from Xiaomi are few examples for Smartphones with good camera features.

5. Bridge Cameras:

Bridge camera, as the name suggests lies in between point and shoot cameras and DSLR cameras. These types of cameras come with a fixed lens, and most of the Bridge cameras cover the telephoto focal range.

So, it is an excellent option to photograph wildlife and sports, if your budget is low or if you are not interested in a DSLR or a mirrorless camera.

Many of the Bridge cameras support the RAW format. It is easier to carry when compared to the DSLRs. If you are a birder, not a bird photographer, then you can invest in one to document your bird sightings.

6. Medium Format Cameras:

In early days, medium format cameras used 120mm films. In this digital age, the film got replace by the digital camera sensor with a size similar to the 120mm film. Few manufacturers still produce medium format film cameras. It comes with a bigger camera sensor and at a higher price.

So, if you are looking for extremely high-quality images with a high noise performance then you should go for the medium format cameras. So, this is the first choice of camera for fashion photographers.

Hasselblad is one of the popular Medium format camera brands. Fuji and Pentax are the other well-known brands in this types of cameras. They are little heavy and bulky when compared to the DSLR cameras. The bulkiness is mainly due to the large camera sensor.

7. Film Cameras:

Last but not least, we have the film cameras. It all started with film cameras. During the early days of photography, we use film as the medium to record images. Later, Film got replaced by the camera sensor and memory cards.

The ISO part of the image comes as the film feature. So, we need to change the film rolls according to our ISO needs. 

You can control the Aperture and Shutter speed from the camera. Now, camera manufacturers have stopped producing these types of cameras for photography due to lack of demand.

8. Instant Camera/ Polaroid Cameras:

As the name suggests, Instant cameras are capable of printing photos just after capturing it. It was Polaroid Corporation who introduced this type of cameras in the market. Hence, these cameras are also known as Polaroid cameras.

The earlier generation of Instant cameras used films, and it got replaced by paper prints. There are many different models from Polaroid, and other Instant camera manufactures. Kodak and Fujifilm are the other known manufacturers of Instant cameras.

9. Digital Cine Cameras:

Digital Cine cameras are high-end types of cameras used for filming movies or documentaries. They come with interchangeable lens options. Film professionals make use of cine cameras. They are used mainly for video recording, and all the models are capable of supporting resolutions of 4k and more.
